GAF‑Pihat is a PoE converter specially designed for Raspberry Pi. It can work with IEEE 802.3af PoE switches or 48V PoE injectors to supply 5V 10W power and gigabit transmission speed for the Raspberry Pi, with a transmission distance of up to 100 meters.

The device can work with 802.3af‑standard or passive PoE power supplies and PoE switches under 10/100/1000‑megabit networks, and supports CAT5e, CAT6, CAT7 Ethernet cables.

This product is suitable for Cisco and similar PoE switches. As an active PoE solution, it can complete power supply handshake negotiation with the switch to deliver power to the Raspberry Pi. It features compact size and high cost‑performance.

The PoE switch outputs 48V or 56V DC voltage. A higher DC voltage can reduce the current to one‑ninth of its original value, thus lowering cable transmission losses. This PoE‑to‑5V converter enables the Raspberry Pi to operate normally at a maximum distance of 100 meters (328 feet) from the power supply.

Form factor compatible with Raspberry Pi cases. On‑board pin headers are available for GPIO interfaces and serial port debugging, and the device comes with a built‑in cooling fan.
The 20W output power is sufficient to meet the power‑supply requirements for various application scenarios.
